Francesca Parato, Lawyer
Born in Turin on November 15, 1988, she obtained the high school diploma at the school “Vittorio Alfieri” in Turin and in 2012 she earned a five years master degree at the University of Turin, Department of Law, with a final dissertation with on “Food Labelling”.
After the degree, she started working as a trainee at a first law firm active in the field of food law, with particular reference to criminal and administrative law, and thereafter at a second law firm active in civil law, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious work for enterprises, with particular reference to commercial agreements.
During her period as a trainee, she took part in a Master at University of Piedmont on “Food law”. Between 2014 and 2015 she passed the bar examination by the Court of Appeal of Turin with admission at the bar of Turin on March 2016. Since October 2015 she has been a collaborator with the editorial staff of “New law review, with reference to EU law” at the Industrial Union of Turin. She started her collaboration with the law firm VENTURELLO E BOTTARINI, AVVOCATI in May 2016.
Starting from 2016 she advises enterprises with reference to privacy law, instructing them on how to comply with the recent EU Regulation.
Since November 2017 she works together with the privacy team of the Industrial Union of Turin.
Starting from November 2018 she has the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) for a trade association.
Since November 2018 she is a member of the AGAT Association.
She currently works in English and in French and she uses it as working language with foreign clients.
In 2019 she attended the “Theoretical-practical course for the training of the Data Protection Officer”, organized by Turin Bar Association.
In 2019 she organized training courses on the processing and circulation of personal data, and she held the relevant lectures in private institutions.
Since 2019 she is a lecturer at the ENAIP PIEMONTE (Ente Nazionale Acli Istruzione Professionale), based in Turin, at the training course for video production Technicians, on the relevant legal aspects in the field of audio-video production, on the aspects of personal data protection, copyright and related rights, personal rights and the protection of cultural property.
Since 2020, she is a lecturer at ENAIP PIEMONTE (Ente Nazionale Acli Istruzione Professionale), Turin office also at the training course for graphic technician for multimedia and web design, on the profiles of protection of copyright, related rights and personal data protection, with particular reference to the protection of a website and works on the Internet.
Since November 2021, she has held the position of Data Protection Officer (DPO) for a publicly-owned foundation.
Since December 2022, he has been collaborating with REP - Réseau Entreprendre Piemonte Association, of which lawyer Marco Venturello is a member, to organise a 'Masterclass in Business Law' aimed at start-ups and other member companies.
