The Italian Supreme Court, with judgement no. 9289/2024, stated that the use by a prestigious fashion house of the name of a well-known actress in connection with certain shoes made by the fashion house itself is lawful, if it is done in a descriptive or informative manner directed at telling the entrepreneurial story of the fashion house. In particular, on the fashion house's website where, with reference to the sandal 'The model was worn by H.A.' was indicated, while with reference to the ballerina 'The original model was created by F.S. in 1959. It is one of the numerous models invented by F.S. for the actress H.A.'
