The Supreme Court, with decision no. 436/2026, stated that the broadcasting of sound recordings via a television signal in the rooms of a hotel (to which a farm holiday accommodation is equated) constitutes an act of communication to the public, which requires the hotel (and the farm holiday accommodation) to pay the remuneration provided for in Law no. 633/1941.
